Dabo, a well-known actor in Ghana, has turned to football with the launch of the Dabo Football Academy.
The Ashanti Region-based Division Two squad has been making strides, and Dabo is certain that they will soon rule football in Ghana.
He thinks that by founding the academy, he will be contributing back to society and assisting in the discovery of talent for the nation.
“I founded the Dabo Soccer Academy because we must help those in need. That’s my desire because everyone needs support, therefore when you have money, you have to offer it to someone, he told Marca.

Juventus midfielder, Paul Pogba, has reportedly tested positive for the usage of a banned substance following a drug test conducted on him after matchday one of the 2023/2024 Serie A.
According to Corriere dello Sport and Sport Mediaset, the player tested positive for testosterone after Juventus’ opening game of the season against Udinese on August 20.
Pogba, who has played a total of 32 minutes in the new season was an unused substitute in the game against Udinese.
The report indicated that the National Anti-Doping Tribunal will investigate the issue. If Pogba is found guilty, he could be handed a minimum ban of two years or a maximum of four years.

Two weeks ago, an earthquake in Turkey claimed the life of Atsu, a winger for the national team. His body was found on February 18th.
The arrangements were made for a Turkish Airlines flight to take his body to Ghana as part of plans to bury him in his own country.
Speaking at a homecoming ceremony for the late Atsu at Kotoka International Airport, the vice president disclosed plans to work with the family to arrange for Atsu to be buried properly. Dr. Bawumia stated that Atsu deserves to be honored because of his humanitarian work. “He played for the Black Stars and he was much loved so we will sorely miss him. This loss is a very painful one and this is a sad day for Ghana. We all prayed and prayed, we hoped against hope for everyday that passed, but God knows best,” he said. He referred to the Turkish occurrence as a tragedy that had stolen happiness from Atsu’s beneficiaries and the entire Ghanaian population.

“There is the need for individual change and Ghanaians must also begin to exercise and prevent sicknesses and its associated medical bills,” he added. The national fitness day, Mr. Ussif pointed out, would not only promote good health but also community relations, mental health, and sports in general. The country as a whole stood to gain a lot from it. “This concept is very common in the USA and UK and we would replicate same in Ghana and urge all to participate and stay healthy,” he stressed. “A healthy national is a happy and productive nation and everyone within the corporate and civil organisations must partner government to make the event a successful one,” he added.
He claimed that the Vice President was a powerful advocate for the occasion and exhorted Ghanaians to take up the role of good health ambassadors in their homes and neighborhoods.
