Pablo forgives Sammy Gyamfi over lies spewed against him

The National Democratic Congress’s (NDC’s) National Youth Organiser states he has pardoned Sammy Gyamfi, the party’s National Communications Officer, for running an attack ad against him.
George Opare Addo said this is because his [Sammy’s] actions were borne out of “immaturity and inexperience”
When Mr. Addo spoke on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem programme on Tuesday for the first time following the hotly contested elections, he made the remark.
In a heated election for the job of National Youth Organiser held in Cape Coast in the Central Region, Mr. Gyamfi openly backed his rival, Brogya Genfi.

He said that the youth wing has been misled for the past four years as justification for why Mr. Addo, often known as Pablo, should not be kept.
However, following the voting, delegates overwhelmingly supported Pablo, who received 533 votes, while Brogya received 508 votes out of the total ballots cast.
Despite his opponents’ allegations of cheating, Pablo claims they are simply bitter losers because he was elected in a free and fair election.
He referred to Mr Gyamfi as a “influence peddling” who campaigned against him using the names of former President John Mahama and former Chief of Staff Julius Debrah.

“Sammy Gyamfi is just an officer of the party and he is part of the influence peddlers. They are those who are using the former President’s name wrongly and they should be called to order,” he fumed.
The NDC youth leader claimed that the premeditated lies told against him in the run-up to the elections made his heart bleed.
Despite this, Mr. Addo stated that he was not shocked by the National Communications Officer’s stance.

“I have no issue with who anybody chooses to support but there are videos of Sammy Gyamfi using Julius Debrah’s name to campaign against me,” the NDC National Youth Organiser stated.
“Sammy Gyamfi is young; it is youthful exuberance, immaturity and inexperience. A time will come he will grow out of it,” he added.
According to Pablo, NDC delegates were quite astute, able to read between the lines, and made the right decision.

Court Orders Sammy Gyamfi to pay GH¢500,000 for Defamation

The General Jurisdiction High Court (12) in Accra has ordered Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, to pay GH¢500,000 in damages to Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Minister of Energy.
This follows the court’s decision in favor of the minister in a defamation case he brought in 2019 against Sammy Gyamfi, which was heard by Justice Charles Gyamfi Danquah.
When he was the minister of education, Dr. Opoku Prempah filed a lawsuit against the NDC communicator for claiming that Seidu Mba, one of the suspects detained in connection with the kidnapping of two Canadian girls in Kumasi, was his (Dr. Prempah’s) errand boy.
Justice Charles Gyamfi Danquah ruled during the hearing on Thursday (October 13, 2022) that Sammy Gyamfi had defamed Dr. Opoku Prempeh with his utterances.
Sammy Gyamfi was also fined GH¢500,000, and the judge also ordered him to apologize and recant his false remark within seven days of the ruling with the same prominence as the initial assertion.
“A declaration that the words complained of and published by the defendant and contained in paragraph 14 herein are defamatory of the Plaintiff’s character.

“An order of the honorable court directed at the defendant to publish an unqualified retraction and an apology with the same prominence of the defamatory words received within seven days after the judgment.

“An order of the honorable court for a perpetual injunction restraining the defendant, his agents, assigns, servants and any person claiming authority from the defendant from further making/or publishing any defamatory words against the Plaintiff.

“The sum of One million Ghana Cedis (GHS1, 000,000) in damages for the defamation,” a declaration statement by the energy minister read.

Enough is Enough; Dennis blasts Sammy Gyamfi on his consistent lies

Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the presidency’s director of local government, decentralization, and rural development, has delivered some messages to Sammy Gyamfi, the NDC’s national communications officer.
Sammy Gyamfi and Dennis Miracles Aboagye appeared on Saturday’s broadcast of TV3’s The Key Points. The two guests had a fantastic conversation on different topical national concerns, as well as the achievements of both the NPP and the NDC.
During the conversation, Sammy Gyamfi stated unequivocally that the NPP administration has failed to establish a single school since taking power in 2017.

Sammy Gyamfi was informed by Dennis Miracles Aboagye after he made this claim that he has been spreading this untruth for the past five years. He claims that Sammy Gyamfi’s job is spreading untruths about the NPP, which is currently in power. Sammy Gyamfi, in his opinion, has been defaming the NPP for the past five years, according to him.
Dennis Miracles also expressed his dissatisfaction with his own NPP government for neglecting to refute Sammy Gyamfi’s fabrications regarding the NPP over the previous five years. Sammy Gyamfi received a clear message from him telling him to stop lying against the NPP since it has constructed more school facilities than the NDC regime.

“I have given you a list of secondary schools that have been built by this government from scratch to correct that falsehood and consistent lies by the NDC. For some strange reasons, he has been saying these lies for five years and for some reasons, my party and my people have failed to call him out” he said.

Why does Sammy Gyamfi lie so much- E.T. Mensah shocked

E. T. Mensah, a former minister of works and housing, has expressed surprise at several remarks made in support of how the NDC administration handled the contentious Saglemi Housing project.
This comes after Sammy Gyamfi, the party’s national communications officer, said that the project would be carried out in stages.

Mr. Gyamfi argued that Collins Dauda, the successor to E. T. Mensah, did nothing wrong in a lengthy article published shortly after it was reported that Attorney-General Godfred Dame had filed charges against five people, including two former Ministers under the NDC administration, for causing financial loss to the state.
He claimed that the actions taken by Mr. Mensah, who had notified Parliament that the housing units would not be erected all at once, could not entirely be attributed to Mr. Dauda.

“It is instructive to note that the Minister of Works and Housing at the time, Honorable. E. T. Mensah informed Parliament during the debate on the approval of the loan facility that the 5000 housing units will not be built at a go, but rather over a period of time, that is, in phases.”
He also explained that the $200 million credit facility secured for the project did not cover sewage and other ancillary works needed for the housing units.
“Under the Works Agreement, government was supposed to provide a serviced plot of land with roads, water, electricity, drains, sewage systems and other ancillary facilities for the smooth takeoff of the project, the cost of which had not been factored into the amount of $US200 million approved by Parliament for the project.”

“Since government did not have any funds to fall on to discharge these responsibilities, the decision was taken by the Ministry to use part of the approved amount of the project (US$200 million) for all the necessary ancillary works to pave way for the construction of the housing units and to make the project site a commercially viable and habitable community.
“This is what informed the decision by the Ministry to do the project in phases, as the Minister, Honourable. E. T. Mensah had already intimated to Parliament. Clearly, the 5,000 houses could not be built at a go. “
E. T. Mensah, however, rejects this account of what happened.
Speaking to Paul Adom Otchere, host of Good Evening Ghana on Metro TV, Mr. Mensah said anyone who argues the $200 million loan arrangement does not cover ancillary activities is illiterate.

The former Minister labeled the statement as a falsehood when it came to whether the project would be carried out in stages.
“It is a lie. I was not into any phases. We knew that we wanted to build, that is 5,000 houses to be built for workers, and it was approved; executive approval was given and parliament approved it, so if anything at all, If I wanted to change something, I had to go through the same process again,” he said.
He described how the project will be carried out in a single step.
He questioned, “How can people lie like this?”

SAMMY GYAMFI LIES

Sammy Gyamfi ‘exposed’ over ‘lies’ about the National Mosque.
The National Communications Director of the major opposition party (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has once gotten himself in trouble after being ‘exposed’ for his recent comments concerning the National Mosque.

“As for the ridiculous claim that the mosque was funded through a grant from the Turkish government, it could only have come from a desperate propagandist trying to justify his opposition to the construction of the National Cathedral by making baseless claims about the National Mosque. These claims by Sammy Gyamfi are not only lies and a shameless attempt to score cheap political points for former President Mahama, using the National Mosque, but it is also disrespectful to Ghanaian Muslims, and the philanthropic NGO, which fully funded the construction of the Mosque. Sammy Gyamfi can go on with his anti-National Cathedral campaign; that is his business and not our concern. But in pursuing his propaganda, he should leave the National Mosque out of it, and he should stop giving credit to people for roles they did not play”, the Zongo group’s statement unequivocally disclosed.
