The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has told the running mate to the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh to act in ways that will dispel the claims by critics that he is arrogant.
The Asantehene said he raised Dr Mattew Opoku Prempeh, a royal, as a humble child growing up and he has never been arrogant. It is now incumbent on Dr. Opoku Prempeh to prove the critics wrong that he is not arrogant as they claim he is.
“They say you are arrogant but prove them wrong”, the Asantehene affirmed when President Akufo-Addo together with other NPP bigwigs introduced the Bawumia-Opoku Prempeh ticket to him at Manhyia Palace on Tuesday, July 9.
The Asantehene Otumfuo further told Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh to follow the instructions of his boss at all times. He advised Dr Opoku Prempeh to support his boss to ensure that Dr Bawumia does not regret choosing him as his running mate.
